First, you need to know the rules of construction in Pal World.
Placing the foundation
In Pal World, you cannot build without necessarily placing a foundation.
A building is recognized as such by constructing the foundation, walls, and roof in order.
Strictly speaking, whether there is a roof or not determines if a bed can be placed.
Support Depends on the Base
This is a mystery related to architecture that exists in various crafting games, not just in Palworld.
I'm not concerned about it because it's a game,
but if even one building material is in contact with the base,
you can get invisible support from the base.
Therefore, even if there are no walls, it is possible to extend the construction upward.
Building strength does not apply to height
This is a feature unique to the game. Generally, when building a tall structure, you would make the foundation strong to withstand the weight, but in Palworld, there is no need to worry about that. It does apply horizontally
